Why go smoke free?

SmokeFree Liverpool was launched in March 2004 although we had been working for about six months before that. We have learnt so much in the last three years, and know that our experience will be useful to other cities, towns and communities as England moves towards becoming smokefree on July 1, 2007.

We have therefore built this section of the site to provide some guidance on what to do to help move your area towards being smokefree.

Obviously our experience is based on being a city but you can probably adapt what we have learnt to your environment.
